whoops

My comments aren't working anymore. I'll try to fix that early next week....have a lot of news to report, but no time/energy to do it. Classes start in under a month!!!

mild annoyance

Checked out this page in Internet Explorer today...the font over here in the "blog entry" column just doesn't look right...I designed this using Mozilla and the font isn't so big and bold--looks just like the font over in the "links" column. Can't figure out how to fix it, and probably shouldn't waste too much time. But it's annoying.
Sorry to all you IE users..

Update

Well, talked to the registrar today...she had my file on the top of her desk. Think that's a good sign. Basically just asked when I needed to have everything in to her for the fall, and if there was anything I was missing. She said I was in really good shape as long as I got my registration in by the first week of August...(oh, good, thankfully I won't be doing something like moving that weekend...er, wait, I am.

Anyway, the goal that Jason and I have come up with is to take History of Philosophy (aka "my justification to get DSL" as I have to do that via videoconference) and O.T. Survey. Start off slow my first term (esp. as I'll probably be doing some pulpit supply at the start of the term), just get my feet wet and do what I can to brush up my Greek so I can try to test out of it in the Spring. Not very slow, mind you, that's 7 credits (I'm supposed to try to get 8 a term), but I did fight off the temptation to add another 3.

Humbled and Thankful

With the exception of one person, if you're reading this, you've read my support letter. The response thus far has been, well, humbling. Thanks very much to all of you who've prayed, given me help, or talked about giving me help. Words escape me (hopefully not for long, got work to do...) :)

Theoretically, at least, this is where I'll be posting notes, comments, thoughts on my studies at Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary so my friends/family/supporters/whoever can keep tabs on my progress.
